PROPHECY NEWS   FALSE TEACHERS

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if a angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you let him be eternally condemmed. Galatians 1 :6-8 

 O Timothy, keep what is comitted to your trust, avoiding profane babblings, and opposition of science falsely so called 1 Timothy 6:20 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appertites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Romans 16:18

  For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preachedor if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel than the one you accepted you put up with it easily enough. 2 Corinthians 11:4 

Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheeps clothing but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. Matthew 7:15 For false prophets and false Christ will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive the elect if that were possible. Matthew 24:24 

  If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to Godly teaching he is conceited and understands nothing. 1 Timothy 6:3 

 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies even denying the sovereign Lord, who bought them bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into dispute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them and their destruction has not been sleeping. 2 Peter 2:1-3 

 Dear friends do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1,2 

 For there are certain men crept in unawares who were before of old ordained to this condemnation ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Jude 4  

 If a prophet or one who foretells   by dreams, comes amony you and  announces to you a mirsculous sign or wonder, and if the sign or wonder of which he has spoken takes place, and he says, Let us follow other gods gods you have not known and let us worship them,  you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love Him with all of your heart and with all of your soul. Deuteronomy 3:1-3

The old prophet answered , I to am a prophet, as you are. And an angel said to me by the word of the Lord. Bring him back with you to your house so that he may eat bread and drink water. But he was lying to him. 1 Kings 13:18

Behold I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be you therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16

THE DECEIT OF TOLERANCE

As our lord was arrested, brought to trial, beaten by both Jewish leaders and Roman soldiers, mocked ,betrayed and abandoned by His followers then taken away to be crucified, not for His own misdeeds but for our sins. Christ suffered and sacrificed His own life without a word of defense or complaint, this is tolerance when you know there is overwhelming power at your own disposal to overcome all your enemies and He did not cry out, or call for the legions of angels that would rescue Him.   Matthew 26:53 Thinkest thou that I cannot pray to My Father and He shall presently give Me more than twelve legions of angels. With such a force Jesus could have freed Himself and conquered the entire Roman army.  If this did happen today school children wpuld be free to read in their history books about the great General Christ and learn of the battles he fought and the many soldiers he killed. But the children in school are not allowed to study about Christ  who came into this world to become their Savior. We thank Jesus for the choice He made for us there have been many generals but only one Savior our Lord Jesus Christ.        

      Today in our world tolerance has a much different meaning the entire world must be tolerant of the views and lifestyles of very small groups. People with lifestyles that were considered criminal in this country and still are criminal acts in many parts of the world are given greater protection under our law, so they will be safe from the majority that disagree with them. Of course there will be no suffering or sacrifice by these groups because their cause in many cases are being used to lead the modern world attack on Christianity which to many of there suporters is the only goal they are concerned about. Christians who only support the traditions and practices of God as taught in the Bible are now intolerant of others. Christians who want to teach others how they might have eternal life with God for the rest of eternity are not tolerant. Those who would allow them to live a full life of sin free from any punishment here on earth, but cause these same people to eternal punishment and suffering they are tolerant and loving people.  Tolerance by todays standards means you must deny the known truths that the whole world has known for thousands of years in order to appease the false beliefs and sinful desires of a small minority and their anti Christian leaders. Jesus in the final book of the Holy Bible the book of Revelation the great book of prophecy for the last days of this world and of the new world to come. Christ begins this book with messages for seven churches that did exist at that time. To six of the seven He warns them about false teachers that already exist in their churches. Revelation 2:2 tells of false apostles, 2:6 speaks of Nicolaitanes who He hates, a group who also practice idolatry, 2:9 talks about false Jews, 2:14 speaks of Balaam a false teacher from the Old Testament, 2:20 tells us of Jezebel a false prophet, and 3:9 mentions false Jews once again. Christ own teaching warned us many times of false Christ and false prophets and teachers.        

     Although these people have existed inside and outside the church in every generation they have never been so welcome and encouraged to promote their false doctrines so freely as in our lifetime. Television, radio and publishing provide access for false teachers to profess there new world theories that are all inclusive so long as you can afford the price of books, video tapes and the admission to the lecture halls to hear them tell you your sinful life is not sin but a free matter of choice that all are entitled to select for themselves. There you will also learn to form advocate groups to support your cause against those who will not be tolerant of your position. They will always target the Christian Church as your chief opponent who will deny you your rights. Many of these people will follow this strategy without ever spending any time in a Christian Church and no knowledge of what the Bible tells them. Most often this new allegiance with the false teacher is more harmful than the original problem  a person had that caused them to join such groups. Many religions both new and ancient have leaders, founders and teachers that were good people and believed they found a way to help make a better way of life for the people who would follow them. These religions answered questions that were a mystery to mankind and provided a belief system that formed a safer society for people to live in. As we see in the book of Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent:  As the Apostle Paul spoke to the group of pagan believers in Athens he told them now is the time to put aside false beliefs and turn to the one true God. The great difference here is although religions  have leaders only Christianity has a Savior our Lord Jesus Christ. The resurrection of Christ has been called into question and refuted for centuries the most popular theory was that Jesus did not die but only swooned on the cross and later revived by the Apostles. But what of the soldier that pierced Him and the water and the blood that came out, yes our Lord died on the cross and rose three days later.       

      Todays enemies of Christianity are far bolder attacking the entire life of Christ in such claims discovered in now two false gospels of Mary Magdalene and now the gospol of Judas.  Why is it that these new gospels are always discovered and supported by athiest.The life of Christ as well as the church of today is under attack now as never before in this country. Who are the attackers are they strange believers in foriegn gods, or founders of a new religion, no, in most cases they also claim to believe in God. In their view it would seem that God now allows mankind to live in the worst possible sinful conditions as long as they acknowledge that God does exist. This belief system can exist throughout all religions in the false belief that all will be welcome merely because they  believe in the greater authurity of the universe. All religions do not lead to God many lead to paganism, false worship, and eternal punishment. Our Lord did not die on the cross and sacrifice His own life as no one else has done to allow others who do not believe in Him as their Savior to have the same life and rewards that God has promised to those who believe in His Own Son.                

      As we see the growth of false religions grow in the billions around the world and the attacks on Christianity, Christian people, the church and the entire Life of Christ in our schools, the publishing industry, the television and movie industry,and also in many churches. We must look to the many warnings that Christ Himself gave us about persecution in the last days. Matthew 24: 9 Then shall the deliver you up to be afflicted and they shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for My names sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold. These will not be debates about what is the correct way but actual attacks on our lives and the destruction of our churches, which can not occur until a great majority of the people are led astray by false prophets who will demand the end to belief in Christ where ever it exist. What will be our duty as Christians during these last days, shall we boycott television stations that allow false teachers to proclaim their messege, we have seen what national boycotts of other nations have produced, very little, shall we wait for our lawmakers to make laws to protect us, they will side with the free speech rights of the false prophets, and allow them to enforce laws against us because we are not tolerant of there beliefs. Our duty in these last dangerous days will be as they have always been to tell the story of Christ suffering, death and resurrection for the salvation of all mankind. Matthew 24:14 And the Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. To bring the gospel to all people this is our only duty today and forever to bring all people into the kingdom no matter what the risk to us. God in the last days doesnot suspend evangelism because of the danger to us. If this were so in the first century that the apostles for their own safety were to stop telling the story of Christ there would be no church today.Just as Christ was able to rescue Himself He choose not to but to go on to the great suffering before Him, we also must assume the risk of suffering in order to win the final souls to Gods kingdom.                                                            

     There is the possibility that Christians may win some of the battles to bring prayer back to public schools, keep the words In God We Trust on our money, and might even remove abortion which will save millions of lives each year. We have seen victories to stop gay marriages which will continue in each state. All and many more are good causes and must be fought and we must urge our lawmakers and judges to support our position on the causes. The stronger we become in the political areas to stop such events we see more direct attacks on the Bible our churchs and on the life of Christ.                                                               

      As the battle comes closer to home at your church, in your family and on your job you will face greater persecution not only for these issues but directly because of your faith and belief in the name of Jesus Christ as you Savior. As the attacks get greater the return of Christ becomes closer keep your eyes on Christ only He will rescue us from the tribulation and a world ruled by the antichrist. Know Christ now as your Savior now accept Him into your life and trust Him for your eternal life with Him.
